More Things to Do in November

Check out Momo On Steam. A new Nepalese dumpling restaurant is opening in November at 1120 N. Pleasantburg Drive. They specialize in traditional momos — steamed dumplings filled with seasoned meat and vegetables — and it’s the kind of spot that makes Greenville’s food scene so exciting. Follow @momoonsteam for the opening announcement.
Keep an eye on Super G Mart. Greenville’s first Super G Mart — an international grocery store with everything from Asian and Latin to Indian and European specialty items — is expected to open at 555 Haywood Road around late November or early December. It’s the chain’s first location outside North Carolina.
Hit the Swamp Rabbit Trail. November weather in Greenville is some of the best of the year for being outside. Cool mornings, warm afternoons, and the fall colors are still hanging on. Walk, run, or bike the trail before it gets cold for real.
Support local this holiday season. Between the Holiday Hop in TR, Small Business Saturday in Greer, the Holiday Market at Camperdown, and the Greenville Christmas Market at the Grand Bohemian, there’s no shortage of opportunities to shop local this month. Your favorite small businesses will thank you.
Catch a show at the Radio Room. November’s lineup at the Radio Room on Poinsett Highway includes some great acts — Ward Davis, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, The Faint, and more. It’s one of the best small music venues in the Southeast, and every show feels like a secret.
Have the best November, Greenville. There’s a lot to love about this city, and this month is proof.
Thanks for reading.
