Before You Pack the Car
- Double up on Dec. 5. Catch Mauldin’s afternoon parade, grab dinner, then head downtown for the Poinsettia Parade.
- Pick your Dec. 6 parade. Greer, Simpsonville and Anderson are all that afternoon.
- Bring chairs, layers and snacks. Someone will be hungry before the first float.
- Check road closures. Your usual parking spot may be inside the parade route.
- Make a local stop. Dinner, cocoa or a little gift shopping turns a parade into a whole holiday outing.
