Mahjong at the Museum
Mahjong at the Museum
Description
Join The Children’s Museum of the Upstate and HayMahj for Mahjong at the Museum, an evening of American mahjong, beer and wine, and heavy hors d’oeuvres from Fork and Plough. This is a 21+ fundraising event benefiting The Children’s Museum of the Upstate.
Enjoy lively rounds of American Mahjong in a fun, social setting while connecting with fellow players at the museum after hours. Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the game, Mahjong at the Museum is welcoming, approachable, and community-focused.
Every winning Mahjong hand earns a raffle entry. The more hands you win, the more chances you’ll have to take home a raffle prize.
This event is primarily geared toward seasoned American Mahjong players, but twenty Beginner tickets are available for guests who would like to learn the game. Beginner instruction and gameplay support will be provided by HayMahj.
Please note: you must purchase a Beginner ticket to receive instruction at the event.
Advance ticket purchase is required. If you have your own Mahjong set, you are encouraged to bring it.
