2026 Fall River Sweep
2026 Fall River Sweep
Description
Get Your Hands Dirty for the Reedy River!
GREENVILLE, S.C. — It’s time to get outside, get your hands dirty, and give the Reedy River some love!
Friends of the Reedy River (FoRR) is hosting its Fall Reedy River Sweep on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:30–11:30 a.m., bringing volunteers together at five sites along the Reedy River for a morning of hands-on river cleanup.
What will you find? Bottles, cans, metal, toys, etc., and yes, even tires! Every piece we remove helps protect the river, strengthen its banks, and create a healthier habitat for the wildlife that depends on it.
This isn’t just a cleanup. It’s a chance to get outside, meet people who care about the Reedy, make a visible difference, and be part of something bigger than yourself.
Three Hours. Five Sites. One River.
Whether you’re a longtime FoRR volunteer or this is your first time getting involved, there’s a place for you on the river.
