Hearts of Valor Rescue
Information
Hearts of Valor Rescue is a veteran-founded nonprofit serving the Upstate of South Carolina, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting vulnerable cats and dogs in need. Rooted in compassion and guided by integrity, the organization exists to provide safety, healing, and hope for animals who have been abandoned, injured, or overlooked.
Born from a lifelong calling to care for animals and a continued commitment to serve after military service, Hearts of Valor Rescue is driven by a mission to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. With a focus on both immediate rescue efforts and long-term solutions, the organization works to create lasting impact for animals and the communities they are part of.
Hearts of Valor Rescue is committed to ethical, responsible, and compassionate care through a variety of services and initiatives. These include rescue and rehabilitation for animals in crisis, medical care and emergency response, and support for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts to manage and protect local cat populations. Through community education, the organization also promotes responsible pet ownership and awareness around animal welfare.
At its core, Hearts of Valor Rescue believes in showing up, doing what is right, and ensuring every animal is treated with dignity. From providing daily care for TNR colonies to coordinating safe and thoughtful adoption placements, every effort is centered on the well-being of the animals served.
The organization also offers opportunities for the community to get involved through fostering, volunteering, donating, and adoption. Whether supporting behind the scenes or opening your home to an animal in need, every contribution plays a role in changing lives.
Hearts of Valor Rescue exists to be a voice for the vulnerable and a resource for the community—where courage meets compassion, and every animal is given the chance for a better future.
