Writer’s Block Party
Description
Writeshare, a Greenville-based creative community for writers and storytellers, will host its Writer’s Block Party this July, a fundraiser for Greenville’s Literary Arts. All proceeds will be put toward developing local writers.
Designed to welcome writers at every stage—from first-time journal-keepers to working authors and journalists—the Writer’s Block Party will feature a local authors table, writing merch, and opportunities to meet fellow creatives. Anyone interested will be able to ask questions about the full fall line-up of writing classes, held at the Writeshare Studio on Mills Avenue. The event aims to connect Greenville’s writers, raise money to support literary pursuits in our city, and celebrate the power of words in a supportive, upbeat setting.
“Writing can feel isolating,” said Writeshare co-founder Lindsey DeLoach Jones. “This event is about turning that stuck feeling into momentum—together. We hope folks will leave with new ideas and new connections.”
